Magento developers, fans, and users met at the Fowara, LLC HQ Southeast Magento Meetup! Everyone enjoyed the pizza, sodas and other refreshments. Three group members shared and gave us a tour of their front and backend functionality of their Magento sites. Among the speakers were Michael Dost, Matt Uffalussy with background in Magento Development followed by Steve of United BMW. The information’s were great and we all learned something new from different perspectives.
The feedback on the event was very positive. Attendees especially liked not only the chance to network, but the opportunity to actually learn something new! Southeast Magento Group is growing community and hopefully we will see more attendees on our next event which has been already scheduled on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, 7:00 PM. On this meetup we will learn how to create widgets in Magento which will be presented by Michael Dost.
